IES 58th Annual Dinner
15 Oct 2024, Shangri-La Hotel Island Ballroom
At the IES 58th Annual Dinner, graced by Guest-of-Honour Minister for National Development and Minister-in-Charge of Social Services Integration Mr Desmond Lee, President Er. Chan Ewe Jin gave the opening address and highlighted key milestones, including the launch of a history book documenting IES’s journey since 1966, and the launch of the Chartered Engineering Board. He emphasized upskilling and urged engineers to pursue chartered status through the new CEB Certification Scheme. President Er. Chan invited all engineers to join the IES family, promoting a strong community focused on innovation and collaboration for future success. Click here to read his full speech.

Accelerated Industry-centric Training Pathway (AITP): Essentials for Line Professionals – Engineering Sector 

UTAP funding approved!  NTUC members aged 40 and above can get up to $500 support

Take the 5-day Accelerated Industry-centric Training Pathway (AITP), an "Abridged ACLP" designed for engineering professionals looking to teach within their field. Endorsed by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and managed by the Institute for Adult Learning (IAL), this program meets industry-specific Adult Educator (AE) standards and is contextualized by IES Academy for the engineering sector.

IES Academy, as the Appointed Industry Partner (AIP), will launch the first two runs in November and December 2024.
